The necessity to find a simple method in order to prevent and eliminate the deterioration of metal surfaces due to aggressive environmental agents had been the subject of several surveys for years. In 1976 those surveys resulted in the creation of a zinc foil coupled with electro-conductive adhesive of excellent chemical and physical features.
